Aktivistja dhe drejtuesja e Aleancës LGBT, Xheni Karaj e cila ishte në grupin që u dhunua pasditen e së shtunës në Beograd (17 shtator) në një reagim në rrjetet sociale tha se dhuna do të ishte e shmangshme nëse policia serbe do të bënte punën e saj!
Më tej Karaj thotë se “Pavaresisht kesaj ne dje pame me syte tane se sa e veshtire eshte te jesh vetvetja ne nje vend ku dhuna eshte sistemike, eshte pjese e kultures politike dhe normalizohet nga qarqe esktremiste deri ne qeveri. “
Reagimi i Plotë:
Dhuna qe pesuam dje ne Beograd ishte e shmangshme nese policia do te kishte bere punen e saj. Pavaresisht kesaj ne dje pame me syte tane se sa e veshtire eshte te jesh vetvetja ne nje vend ku dhuna eshte sistemike, eshte pjese e kultures politike dhe normalizohet nga qarqe esktremiste deri ne qeveri. Dje kuptuam rendesine e solidarizimit me njeri tjetrin, rendesine e planifikimit ne menyre realiste dhe rendesine per te qene strategjike ne betejen tone. Kjo parade dhe dhuna qe shoqeroi ate eshte nje mundesi per te reflektuar bashkarisht por ne kete reflektim disa vete kane me shume pergjegjesi se disa te tjere.
Falenderoj nga thellesia e zemres te gjithe aktivistet qe na qendruan prane pas sulmit deri ne oret e vona te mengjesit.
Parada eshte forma me e larte e ekzistences dhe rezistences. Askush nuk do ta ndali luften tone per nje shoqeri te drejte te barabarte dhe te lire per TE GJITHE
The violence we experienced yesterday in Belgrade was avoidable if the police had done their job. Regardless of this, yesterday we saw with our own eyes how difficult it is to be yourself in a country where violence is systemic, is part of the political culture and is normalized by extremist circles and the government. Yesterday we understood the importance of solidarity with each other, the importance of carefull planning and the importance of being strategic in our struggle. This parade and the violence that accompanied it is an opportunity to reflect together, but in this reflection some individuals have more responsibility than others.
I thank from the bottom of my heart all the activists who stayed with us after the attack until the late hours of the morning.
The PRIDE is the highest form of existence and resistance. No one will stop our fight for a fair, equal and free society for everyone.
